Shonda has spent the last 25 years in the skin care industry in some form. She attended Eastern Kentucky University majoring in Business. She then went on to spend 20 years in leadership as a Sales Director in the Skin Care Industry. During this time she obtained her Esthetician License from Summit Salon Academy in Lexington, KY. Alongside her sales position, she also worked as a Makeup Artist and Eyelash Extension Stylist for 12 years. Upon resigning and closing this chapter of her life in early 2019, Shonda worked solely as an Esthetician and Acne Specialists owning her own spa, that grew to two locations. In October 2021, the vision was born for Esteem Aesthetics and Wellness. After a partnership with TeShawna Sutton, OD, Esteem Aesthetics opened its doors in January 2022. Since then Shonda has increased her knowledge, obtained several advanced certifications as a Laser Technician, IPL, Microneedling, Advanced Acne Specialist, Rosacea Expert, Chemical Peels, and RF Microneedling. She is also serving as the Spa Director and Clinical Aesthetician.

Ashley has been in healthcare, specializing in women’s health, for over 24 years. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University School of Nursing in 2000. She began her RN career at the University of Kentucky as a Labor and delivery nurse. After moving to London, KY in 2004, she began working in OB/GYN before deciding to further her career as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She developed a love for Aesthetics and joined the Esteem team in 2022. With a passion for Women’s Health and Aesthetics she is able to thrive at Esteem. She is the Co-Medical Director, holds several advanced certificates in Neurotoxins, Dermal Filler, Laser, IPL, Chemical Peels and RF Microneedling. She is also certified in weight-loss peptides, vaginal rejuvenation and hormone therapy.

Jennifer has been in healthcare for 23 years. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center working with Heart Transplant and Cardiac Patients. She left Vanderbilt and became a travel nurse, working in Florida and California in ICU, Emergency Room, and Bariatric ICU. She moved back to Kentucky in 2004 and began a career at St. Joseph Lexington. After starting a family, she stepped away from nursing and began a 12 year career in pharmaceutical sales. After deciding to return to nursing, she worked at St Joseph London in the Emergency Room. During this time she also obtained an Associate Degree in Public Health and a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She developed a love for Aesthetics and joined the Esteem team in 2023. She is a Master Injector at Esteem and holds many advanced certifications in Neurotoxins, Dermal Filler, Laser, IPL, Chemical Peels, PRP, PRF and RF Microneedling. She obtained her Laser Technician License from Southern Laser Academy in Atlanta, GA.

Terrah has been in the skincare industry for nearly 3 years. She found her love for the beauty industry at a very young age and received her Esthetician License from Somerset Community College. During her time in school she placed at the National level for the Skills USA competition. She has numerous advanced certificates such as Lash Lift +Tints, Brow Lamination, Advanced Acne Specialist, Chemical Peels, and RF Body Contouring. She joined the Esteem Team in 2023 and is serving as a Clinical Aesthetician.
